Itä-Helsingin Kiekko (IHK) is an ice hockey club founded in 1974, whose mission is to offer people living in the capital region and interested in ice hockey the opportunity to play ice hockey. Children, young people and adults of different ages participate in the activity.

The club also organizes hockey schools for all ages. In the child-parent hockey school for the club's youngest members and their parents are on the ice to get a feel for the ice. At Leijona hockey school, participants already practice in groups and the goal is to participate in the activities of the age teams according to the player path. In the ice hockey school for adults, there is training in both the start and advanced groups. There is also a low-threshold activity for young people in the form of Easy Hockey.

Malmi hockey arena serves as the club's home arena. The hall was opened on March 2, 2006 and IHK is one of the founding clubs of the arena. The hall has three full-size rinks, one of which is equipped with a grandstand.

The club's operating concept is continuous development and the goal is to offer all those who wish to have even better opportunities to practice ice hockey in Eastern and North-Eastern Helsinki.
